This year was the club’s second year ever to attend the state conference and second consecutive year to have a successful campaign for office. The club’s very own chairman, Cade Palmer, campaigned for the office of State Chairman against two other candidates. After traveling 4 hours to the convention location in Houston, Palmer would win the office and continue his tenure as a State Executive Board member.
The White Oak High School Republicans were not finished though. Two more members were elected to some sort of state office. Zach Hellen, the club’s Vice Chairman and co-founder was elected to the position of Executive Director of Expansion and the treasurer of our organization, Jackson Green, selected as a member of the Statewide Leadership Board.
All in all, the organization was successful in its quests for office which the students have attributed to their hard work and dedication throughout the 2014-15 school year.
